Description: The 2024-25 Mini Garnets program is for children born in 2020 or 2021, who will enter Kindergarten in Fall 2025 or Fall 2026. Children will be transported into a world of imagination and excitement through our soccer-based games. Our primary aim is to help children develop their creativity, self-confidence, and social skills. Participants in Mini Garnets will begin to learn all the basic motor skills through our FUN approach to soccer! The program will be led by popular Rye Youth Soccer coaches Chris Skelton, Adriano Torriani, Aubrey Philbrick, and others. Ages: Born in 2020 or 2021 (entering Kindergarten Fall '25 or Fall '26) Session 1 (Open to birth year 2021 only): Saturdays (April 26, May 3, May 10, May 17, May 31, June 7, June 14); 8:00am-8:45am at OSBORN SCHOOL FIELD Session 2 (Open to birth year 2020 only): Saturdays (April 26, May 3, May 10, May 17, May 31, June 7, June 14); 9:00am-9:45am at NURSERY FIELD Session 3 (Open to birth years 2020 AND 2021): Wednesdays (April 30, May 7, May 14, May 21, May 28, June 4, June 11); 2:30pm-3:15pm at NURSERY FIELD (421 Milton Road in Rye) Registration: Opens on January 27, 2025 Early Bird Registration (prior to March 15): $225 Regular Registration (March 15 - April 15, space permitting): $265 Can I Register the Same Child for a Saturday session and midweek session? Yes In the Event of Inclement Weather: In the event that more than one class is cancelled, we will offer a make-up date to ensure that at least 6 of the 7 classes per session are held. The program is expected to fill up again as it has the past few years. ------------------------ Winter 2024-25 ***New Offering*** Description: The 2024-25 Winter Mini Garnets program is for children born in 2021 or who will enter Kindergarten in Fall 2026. Children will be transported into a world of imagination and excitement through our soccer-based games. Our primary aim is to help children develop their creativity, self-confidence, and social skills. Participants in Mini Garnets will begin to learn all the basic motor skills through our FUN approach to soccer! The program will be led by Adriano Torriani. Ages: Born in 2021 (entering Kindergarten Fall '26) Session 1 (Open to birth year 2021 only): Thursdays (November 21, December 5, December 12, December 19; January 9, January 16, January 23); 12:45pm-1:30-pm at St. Gregory the Enlightener Armenian Church - 1131 North Street in White Plains Cost: $225 *Only register on GotSport using a computer. Ages: Born in 2020 or 2021 (entering Kindergarten Fall '25 or Fall '26) Session 1 (Open to birth year 2021 only): Saturdays (September 14, September 21, September 28, October 5, October 19, October 26, November 2); 8:00am-8:45am at NURSERY FIELD XXX FULL XXX Session 2 (Open to birth year 2020 only): Saturdays (September 14, September 21, September 28, October 5, October 19, October 26, November 2); 9:00am-9:45am at NURSERY FIELD Session 3 (Open to birth years 2020 AND 2021): Wednesdays (September 11, September 18, September 25, October 2, October 9, October 16, October 23); 2:30pm-3:15pm at NURSERY FIELD (421 Milton Road in Rye) Registration: Opens on July 1, 2024 Cost per session: $225 Can I Register the Same Child for a Saturday session and midweek session? Yes In the Event of Inclement Weather: In the event that more than one class is cancelled, we will offer a make-up date to ensure that at least 6 of the 7 classes per session are held. To Register: Click the button below to register on or after July 1, 2024. Registration is on a first come, first served basis. The program is expected to fill up again as it has the past few years. An additional fee of $40 applies to any participant who registers after August 31 (space permitting)
