YOU WILL RECEIVE AN E-MAIL DURING THE WEEK PRIOR TO PROGRAM START TO ALERT YOU TO YOUR CHILD’S
TEAM ASSIGNMENT. ASSIGNMENTS WILL ALSO BE AVAILABLE AT THE FIELD.
REQUESTS FOR TEAM PLACEMENT ARE NOT ENCOURAGED.
STAFF
Rye Youth Soccer is staffed and run primarily by volunteers headed by a Board of Directors who oversee policy and operations. Patti Adimari is registrar. Intramural commissioners will assist in running weekly sessions. Andrew Schuck (2014/15) and Chris Skelton (2013) are the professional members of our staff, whose experiences as players, coaches and soccer instructors add an invaluable aspect to our program Andrew, Chris and their professional staff will make themselves available to intramural coaches each week for support and education. High school students assist as coaches and referees and help set up and break down equipment.
HEAD COACH /ASSISTANT COACH
promote children’s technical skills, soccer tactics and sportsmanlike behavior. Encourage development of a positive soccer experience. Phone assistants and manager prior to opening day to delegate responsibilities. Distribute trophies.
TEAM MANAGER
advise players of weather related cancellations. Communicate drink schedule, equipment required and assist with distribution of jerseys and trophies.
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
Volunteers are both welcome and necessary to the success of the program!
