Congratulations to WYSL division winners G-U11 Racers, G-U11 Wild Cats and G-U12 Fire! Special distinction goes to the Racers as double coach award winners. This award recognizes a team that wins both their division and the sportsmanship award in that division. Way to go!
Congratulations as well to our WYSL sportsmanship award winners for fall. They are B-U9 Red Flames, B-U9 Red Rocks, B-U10 Barca, B-U10 Lightning, B-U10 Eagles, B-U12 Redhawks, B-U13 Rockets, G-U9 Flash, G-U9 Dragons, G-U11 Racers, G-U11 Rattlers, G-U11 Flyers, G-U12 Fury and G-U14 Barracudas. Congratulations to the Rye Corinthians who won the White Plains Tiger Tune-Up today (4/6) Girls U-10. They went 2-0-1.
Participants were Tobie Bertisch, Ella Brady, Sophie Bross, Eva Cantalapiedra, Emma Kahle, Daniella Lukes, Monica Mealey, Jordan Miller, Paloma Petilos and Haylee Ressa.
Congratulations also to the GU11 Rye Racers who won their division in the White Plains Tiger Tune-Up going 3-0.
Participants were: Ally Schwarz, Clare Cassidy, Eve Dalton, Katie Keller, Katie Sack, Laura Baine, Leah Atkins, Leah Kenney, Margo Muccia, Olivia Dabinett, Rachael Adelson, Remi White, Simone Fortin and Tessa Brooks.
One more congratulations to the BU9 Avengers who also won their division of the White Plains Tiger Tune up last weekend. 2-1-0.

Congratulations to our own Pat Shields who was inducted into the Westchester Youth Soccer League Hall of Fame this past December for his work as a referee and young referee mentor over many years serving not only Rye Youth Soccer but the greater league as well. A well deserved honor, most certainly! Please be sure to congratulate Pat when you see him.

Travel
Tryouts for girls born 8/1/02-7/31/03 for reshuffling of existing teams as well as for those who would like to be considered for any open roster spots for fall and have not played travel previously will be held Saturday, June 8th at 4:30 PM at Rye Rec. All players should report to the field at 4 PM to register. Questions: age group coordinator, Jeff Kahle (flatcoatpuck@msn.com, 967-1832). WYSL SPRING 2013 FINAL SEEDINGS
Coaches Concussion Awareness Certificates:
The WYSL Board of Directors have unanimously passed the requirement that all WYSL licensed coaches complete the CDC Concussion Awareness Online Course before the resumption of League play for Fall 2012. This valuable, short, free online course was developed to help coaches recognize the signs of a possible concussion and the proper steps to follow when the coach suspects a concussion has occurred. Upon course completion a Concussion Awareness certificate will be issued. Coaches will be asked to have these Certificates in their possession for all their WYSL league games.
